What does being an Obsessed Pickleballers instructor involve?
You’ll lead on-court sessions at our in-person camps or small-group events. We handle everything else — from marketing and player sign-ups to setup and logistics. You just show up, teach, and deliver a memorable experience for players.
Do I need to be certified to apply?
Yes, we prefer instructors who are PPR, IPTPA, or USAPA certified. This helps ensure consistent quality and professionalism across all our camps.
How are instructors compensated?
All instructors are paid per camp or session based on experience, group size, and location. We’ll share exact pay details during onboarding.
What kind of players attend Obsessed Pickleballers camps?
Most of our players are aged 50–90, enthusiastic about learning, and often play multiple times per week.
They range from beginners to advanced intermediates — all eager to improve their consistency, strategy, and enjoyment of the game.
Can I still teach independently or at local clubs?
Yes — as long as you’re not affiliated with another national camp organization conducting similar events.
We welcome coaches who run local lessons or programs independently.
How often can I expect to coach camps?
That depends on your availability and fit.
Some coaches join us for two camps a month, while others lead 5-6 camps depending on demand.
